This in-depth and practical program empowers you to master industry-standard CAT tools, streamline your workflow, and deliver exceptional translations with confidence. This course introduces learners to the world of Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT tools), exploring their features and benefits for translators. Learners will gain hands-on experience with popular CAT software such as SDL trados, MemoQ, … etc. and understand their interfaces, functionalities, and best practices. This course enables you to develop expertise in the unique terminology and phrasing used in your target field through hands-on corpus analysis. It helps you learn effective project management techniques, and discover how to leverage technology to boost your productivity and quality.

If you don’t have time to attend live sessions, you still can enrol in the course. You can watch the recorded sessions and you can always get back to your lecturer for any incomprehensible points or if you need to inquire about something. There will be continuous follow-up with the lecturer to make the most of the course.

Dr. Mohamed Saleh, lecturer at the Faculty of Al-Alsun and Applied Languages, King Salman International University (KSIU) and the head of the Department of Translation and Interpreting Polilengua.com. He is a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University. He has worked as a translator and telephone interpreter for more than 6 years, collaborating with many institutions locally and internationally. Dr. Saleh is a Certified Digital Citizen, certified from the United Kingdom, specializing in translation technology. Dr. Saleh has conducted numerous academic researches in the field of translation and languages, the most recent of which was published in the Center for the Developing English Language Teaching (CDELT Journal) at Ain Shams University. Dr. Saleh is a short story writer and has many published works. In addition to being an academic lecturer, he also specializes in Subtitling and visual content. He has translated many films from English into Arabic and vice versa, including the famous series “The Vampire Diaries,” which is shown on Amazon Prime and Netflix.
